Colonial Dollhouse Reno-Interior 2nd floor

Here is the whole house reveal!

This is what it looked like when it first came to our house. It is a solid wooden dollhouse and I really liked the stamped wooden floors. I had never seen that before. After getting the house cleaned up and fixing some minor things all of the floors got perked up with a layer of Mod Podge. You can see the first floor pictures in my other post.

When I primed the outside of the house I also painted around the interior window frames. The bathroom got a tropical vibe reno. The wallpaper is scrapbook paper. The "tile" is sponge painted watercolor paper with a coat of Mod Podge on the top to protect them from peeling. It took a lot of time but the result was very pleasing!

The bathroom is finished off with a chair rail and darling ceramic fixtures. Wops, sorry Mr. Hedgehog!

Jess selected pink and rose gold flower wallpaper in the bedroom along with a four post flamingo bed.

The hallway has textured paper. After all of the other cheerful business in the house the simplicity of the landing was needed for balance. This was a fun house to work on!

Check out my other post for before and after pictures of the exterior transformation!

Thanks for reading!
