Wow! Wallpapering flat is SO easy!
This is the swoon worthy kitchen paper! We simply traced the wall and cut out the correct size and window holes. We used a layer of Mod Podge on the entire piece of wood then put down the paper. After working out any bubbles we put a thin layer over the top. Lovely!
It takes some planning ahead but papering flat is so fast and easy!
Bottom left: raw sienna stain for the library. Bottom right: kitchen. Middle right: master. Middle left: girl's room. Attic front: bedroom. Attic rear: bathroom
It is a little hard to see from this picture but we painted the exposed attic chimney cream. We used cream, white, and light gray paint to sponge texture onto a piece of watercolor paper. After it dried we cut the smallest bricks we've ever done and carefully glued them to the chimney. A layer of Mod Podge will protect them from being peeled off. I'll add close up photos in a different post :)
The fun continues today as we reconfigure the attic bathroom walls. We also intend to brainstorm separation between the front attic room and bathroom in the back attic room. More to come!
